Hello, I'm Cristina! My Journey as a Health Care Professional to Genetics: A Story of Passion and Commitment.
My career in the health sector allowed me to connect deeply with people and their needs. However, I always felt the need to go further, to look for deeper and more personalized solutions to improve health.
Family reasons led me to specialize in Genetics and Genomics. The possibility of preventing diseases and improving quality of life through understanding our genetic code fascinated me. Since then, my goal has been clear: to contribute to the transformation of medicine towards a more precise and personalized model.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to lead innovative projects, implement quality management systems in hospitals and advise patients in the field of genetics. My experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and implementing new technologies has allowed me to successfully lead BiesoGen, where we offer personalized genetic counseling and innovative solutions in the field of genomics.
My career and my experience have led me to be certain that Genetics and Genomics are there to transform people’s quality of life. The possibility of preventing diseases, designing more effective treatments and improving general well-being is an increasingly close reality.
